Our story
Yako Coffee is named after Yako, our beagle: the dog who gave his name to this specialty coffee shop in the heart of Gràcia. His face is on the logo, on the wall and on every cup.
April 2024
We open at Plaça de Gal·la Placídia 14: a wooden window onto the square, where you order your coffee to go.
October 2024
We celebrate Yako’s birthday: anyone who bought a coffee got a free muffin for their dog.
April 2025
We turn one. Our coffee is Nomad Coffee: we’re a Nomad Dealer.
Winter 2025
Barcelona Food Experience writes about us: “Any café that has a dog mascot is a winner in my book.”

We open our second shop, at Carrer de Torrijos 22, with room inside.
